Vision Statement
The Fayette County Technical Rescue Team was created to provide technical rescue capabilities to the citizens of our response area at no additional cost to the taxpayers. The FCTRT strives to deliver a specialized and professional response to any emergency it is called to. The Team is designed to assist local emergency responders in the discharge of their duties by providing technical rescue services in the pursuit of the protection of life and property.
Mission Statement
The Fayette County Technical Rescue Team will provide high quality, reliable technical rescue assistance to emergency responders during emergencies utilizing the most appropriate resources available and to provide applicable training and education to the Team’s members, other emergency responders, and to the public at large. The purpose of the Team is to provide a nucleus of highly trained special rescue personnel to deal with different types of situations that the Team is capable and prepared to respond to.
For all emergencies please call 911 as all requests for a FCTRT response must be from the on scene incident commander of the authority having jurisdiction.
Technical rescue and emergency response are inherently dangerous activities requiring proper training and the appropriate equipment as well as the use of extreme caution at all times. Do not attempt to duplicate the activities performed by the FCTRT and/or depicted herein. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.
